World Student magazine

Here at John Catt we are very excited to announce the launch of a brand new magazine for international students in partnership with The Council of British International Schools (COBIS) called World Student magazine.

World Student magazine officially launched at the COBIS Head Boys and Head Girls Conference in Madrid at the weekend. We are also delighted to announce that Issue one has been distributed to more than 169 COBIS member schools this week, and is available to download for free on the App store and on Google Play.

World Student magazine employs a motivating, aspirational tone that encourages students studying in international schools around the world to think positively about their future. World Student magazine publishes an array of features, articles and interviews that offer a variety of perspectives from students studying abroad, international school graduates, teachers and educators worldwide.

World Student is the go-to magazine for international students, each issue is packed with stimulating content that covers an array of topics from student study experiences, to international travel destinations, new methods of learning and views on topical issues.

World Student is not simply a magazine for students to read but also for them to engage and get involved with. World Student aims to empower students by giving them a voice, a platform to air their views and opinions, which is why we invite students from all corners of the globe to contribute their experiences, views and opinions by writing for the magazine. Writing for World Student magazine is a fantastic way to gain valuable journalism experience, and will look great on your CV. Please get in contact with us via editor@world-student.com if you would like to contribute to forthcoming issues.

We would like to thank students from the University of Cambridge, International School of London, American International School of Rotterdam, Yokohama International School in Japan, The University of Auckland, Banbury Academy, The International School of Almaty, The British International School of Vietnam, The Benenden School, The Ecole d’Humanite in Switzerland, Plymouth University and Randor House School for contributing to the very first issue.
