Pupil Premium

Our new book, A Practical Guide to the Pupil Premium, published in partnership with the National Education Trust, will be launched next week.

The book, written by NET deputy director Marc Rowland, provides essential advice and information to help schools make the best use of the Pupil Premium grant and improve outcomes for disadvantaged learners.

It includes action points for teachers, headteachers and governors, and a series of tools provided by Ofsted that schools can use to help them to analyse where there are gaps in achievement between pupils who are eligible for the Pupil Premium and those who are not.

The launch event will take place at St Joseph’s Primary School in Covent Garden, London, on Thursday, September 18.

Regional Schools Commissioner Tim Coulson will launch the book and promote discussion on the Pupil Premium while Marc Rowland will speak about some of the ‘best practice’ case studies featured in the book.

If you would like to attend this launch, please contact events@nationaleducationtrust.net.
