A five-strong team from John Catt will be flying out to Lisbon on Thursday morning for the European Council of International Schools Autumn Conference.

Always an interesting and inspiring event, the annual November conference is heralded by ECIS as “the largest and most comprehensive of its kind in the world”, attracting over 1600 participants who are teachers, Heads of school, guidance counselors and college admissions personnel.

There are over two hundred guest speakers during the three days of presentations – including a workshop run by Caroline Ellwood and myself on how and why to write for International School magazine and the International School Journal.

In addition to attending the presentations and workshops to help us keep up to date with all the latest goings on in international education, we will also be promoting all our relevant publications – including the recently released Taking the IB Diploma Programme Forward and Internationalizing Schools.

If you are also lucky enough to be attending, do stop by and say hello – and reserve a special welcome to Milly, who is attending for the first time.
